The Iris Legacy: 1.1

Last Time: The beginning of a new legacy, with a blue founder, blue apartment, and blue guy with PINK EYES! Aquamarine gave birth to a baby girl, Amethyst, or Amy for short, and at the end of the last update Aqua was yet again pregnant. You can read it here. 


Ignore that birthday announcement - let's celebrate Anthony gaining a mechanical skill point while wearing his nifty yellow hard hat!

Aqua: I don't want to see my little baby grow up. So I'll just dislocate my head so that I don't have to watch.

Aqua gets over her fear of seeing her baby grow up, and is smiling at the adorable Amy!

It looks like a boy... To the mirror/dresser!

AW! She's so adorable (with epic eyebrows - didn't notice that when I was giving her her makeover). Ignore the teeth glitch - Amy is having a bit of a fit because she wants to get out of her crib.

Aren't Mommy and Daughter adorable? I love them!

Aqua: *tickles* You are my baby girl and you can never grow up!
I think someone's getting a little too attached to her daughter.

Amy: Mommy! Mommy, me want attenion!
*melts at cuteness*

But the cuteness is interrupted by the arrival of the newest (and hopefully last - this apartment is small!) baby! And Aqua is no longer smiling at her offspring - instead she's currently cursing her new offspring.

I am in shock with this generation - no twins, at all!

Aqua: An adorable baby? Hmm, maybe I don't want to send you back to where you came from for causing so much pain coming out...
Good to see your maternal instincts are back.

It's a baby boy! Mulberry - I know I didn't get a close up, but he looks the same as his sister.

Birthday time again!

At least she didn't try to dislocate her neck this time - she merely refuses to open her eyes to see her baby grow up.

Here he is, skipping his original look and going straight to the makeover. I think Mulberry might give his sister a run for her money...

But first we get to see how Amy turns out...

Amy: *is stretched*

Here she is after her makeover (she grew up with black dreds - not a good look). Yet again her eyebrows are epic.
BUT SHE IS ADORABLE!

Amy: Can I be heir now?
Maybe... First we need to see how your brother turns out. Although it seems like he'll have a lot to live up to.

Despite the competition for heir, the two are best friends and love playing at the arts and crafts table.

Sorry Dasani clan, but I think you're currently be upstaged by these two adorable siblings. :D

You had better be careful Anthony - you don't want someone running up to your apartment to slap you silly.

Anthony: Look at the Smiths' new car! Who are they kidding? They didn't inherit a Mustang from their dead rich uncle - all they got was a crappy old used car from the junk yard.
Really? Scandalous!

Amy, meanwhile, is trying to bake a muffin without burning it. Will she do it?

She did! She may be one of the first children of mine who hasn't burnt it. And I think this is one of her first tries, too. Plus her hobby isn't even cuisine! Amazing.
*not choosing favorites*

Amy brings her muffin out to the kitchen/living room/dining room to eat with her beloved daddy, who is too busy reading to notice his daughter.

Amy: Hey Daddy, when did you meet Mommy?
Anthony: Hmm? Um, I met your mother ten years before you were born, and we married after getting to know each other for many years, and then we had you after being married for many years, just like every one does.
No way she'll see through that. *rolls eyes*

Amy: So you didn't meet her when she was a mermaid and you were an enchanted frog who had to be kissed to be cured and then lived happily ever after?
Anthony: No...
Amy: Oh. *eats quickly to distract confused father*

Amy: That's the last time I believe Disney movies. *eats hand*
Anthony: *is oblivious* Some people can fit their entire hand in their mouth?! How come I don't know anyone who can do that?
*virtually smacks Anthony*

Great, a chance card. Maybe luck will be on my side!

VICTORY!
Too bad it wasn't money though - I could use that to finally move the family into a real house.

While her husband relives his youth in a non-existant band, Aqua is busy painting to give us some money.

Beautiful! I love juri_anne 's new painting defaults - I was getting so sick of the old Maxis ones, plus these are Disney!

Another day, another promotion. This week has been awesome, Aqua, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Now that her little brothe is all grown up, Amy can play with him! Although I'm wondering why she would want to - he seems to be pretending to be a ghost, and doing a good job, hovering off of the ground...

Mulberry: Ha! I can't believe that you thought I was a ghost!

Amy: Someone should call the hospital - there's something wrong with that boy.

Amy: I think I hear the ambulance coming right now.
Mulberry: Really? *plus plus*

Adorable moment - too bad you two aren't facing the camera. *grr*

Sure, increase your relationship without showing me your adorableness, I don't care.

Amy: Help me! I can't hug my brothe because there's nothing in my way!
Smart girl. Good thing you've got your looks...
