Week Six: Poor Jason was alone without any of his older siblings, so he was the only one living with his lovey-dovey parents, Joel and Jules. He managed to do some regular kid things, though, like a family trip to the new public pool. Jules also grew up and joined Joel in elderhood, reminding us how late Jason came along. At the end of the week, one of the quads, Ashlyn, moved back in after graduating from uni, and they also moved to a new, much bigger house instead of their slightly-cramped apartment.

small event: Fitness Focus - your sim decided to go on a fitness regime and can only eat low-fat foods
big event: Jackpot! your sim wins $500,000

Of course, one of Joel and Jules's quads also gave them some money as part of their own ROS event, so the Perrys are even richer - it's how they can afford this very, very big house:

This is a house I made for my ISBI legacy, the Everetts - they can move into it when they get more money, like maybe hundreds of thousands of dollars like the Perrys did.

The first two or three times I popped into this house to try and play, I got constant errors - after doing some research, it turns out that bringing beds from previous houses can sometimes cause problems. I deleted them and everything was fixed - of course, these dumb sims started complaining because their old beds disappeared. *rolls eyes*

Ashlyn invited over her college flame, Elmer Day. He was happy to see her.

Or maybe not? Great timing, Elmer.

Ashlyn turned him down and then quickly made it clear that she wanted to be with him. He moved in with money we really, rally don't need at this point.

Jason brought Ody Taylor home with him - he's excited to see a house that has a lot of orange to match his hair.

Marriage does not seem to be the best fit for Tyson Thatcher - he remembers his long-ago dalliance with Ashlyn.

Ody didn't get a chance to play with Jason too much before he aged up. It's very hard to remember he's the same generation as Ashlyn since he's so far behind.

Jason: I don't see what's happening behind me. My mother is not walking around in her skintone-colored underwear.

Denial is a good trait.

Elmer: I don't see my future mother-in-law in her underwear, nuh-uh.

I'd say denial ran in the family if you and Jason were actually related.

It's nice to have a bigger house where I can fit a full dining table for family dinners.

It's not a Perry II update without some bathtub pirating.

It's been too long without a Perry II baby in this house, so Ashlyn is ready to put a baby in the nice, new nursery.

I'm very slowly decorating the house - this is a family room type area upstairs.

This might be too big a garden for everyone, but it's a big family, so I'm putting them to work.

Belly-expanding time.

Another pregnant Perry, Remy Perry, decided to stop by and creepily stare at her father in the hot tub.

Ashlyn is not taking to pregnancy well.

Ashlyn: Wait, is that the sound of a pregnant woman whose luck is much better than mine coming?

Remy: Urgh, I feel so huge lately, are you getting that?
Ashlyn: Wait, no one has a perfect pregnancy? I'm not alone?

You half-sisters need to bond more.

As the father of his future grandson, Joel figures he should get to know Elmer a bit, so they watch a movie - because that's the best time to talk with someone, am I right?

He'd much rather bond with his daughter.

Or the classmate that Jason brought home with him.

*sigh* I was doing so well with always writing down names, but I forgot to write down hers.

Um, I don't think Jason minds if he knows her name or not. Back away, random teenage girl.

I was curious to see how many grandchildren Jason has, so I pull up his family tree - 9, and that's just as of this count. I forgot that these will be spoilers of the rest of the quads from this week. Oh well - look at all the cute toddlers in your future!

I think Elmer was interested in working on another baby, but Ashlyn had to stop to give birth to this kid first.

Joel: Oh my god, I forgot how my wives did this, what do I do?

We have little Johan Perry, Joel's 10th grandchild. He got everything from Elmer.

Right now, he's alone in this nice, big nursery that's under his grandparents' bedroom.

I'm sorry that the birth of your son/nephew wasn't exciting enough for you two.

I know her name! Rena Pleasant came home with Jason, and they got cozy, with Ashlyn and Elmer being couple-y in the background as well.

<3

I think Jason's week is getting a little more excited.

Also, I just realized - she's not a teenager yet in posts, is she? Wow, playing around with the houses and mixing things up during the week is really coming back to bite me. Eh, I don't really care that much.

Um, Ashlyn, I don't think you're wanted right now.

I really don't think you're wanted, Jules.

They finally got some alone time, once it was dark and time for Rena to head home.

Johan: Ooh, green and shiny!

Birthday time for Johan.

Natural Cook (Ashlyn) // Charismatic (Elmer) // Logical

Picturesque Ashlyn.

aka, I don't remember why I took this picture. To show that the elevator seems to be broken and I hop no one dies? Well, no one dies.

Apparently, 10 is not enough for Joel - not too surprising, after 6 children.

With Jason heading off to school soon, Ashlyn took some time to do some bonding with her little brother.

Step away from the child!

It's time for Jason to finally get out on his own and spread his wings at college.

Meaning he no longer has to witness his parents' PDA, just Ashlyn. Lucky girl.

That's it for the Perrys this week - time to finally see all those grandchildren I keep accidentally showing!

Notes:
- Neither Ashlyn nor Elmer seems interested in getting married, so they can just be dating or engaged or whatever they are until that changes.
- Oops, forgot to go to Jules's restaurant, but in my defense, it's already at a negative ranking, so I don't have a lot of motivation to do even worse. Restaurants are HARD.
