The Dasani Legacy: 4.2

Last Time: The last update was months ago, but at least it wasn't more than a year! Anyway, we unfortunately said goodbye to Layla (our founder!), Sophia (generation two heir), and Scot (her husband), but it wasn't all sad - our current heir, Melody, gave birth to her second son, Oliver. Also, partway through this update, I installed the Ultimate Collection and had to recreate the Dasanis in a new game, so they'll look a little different since I couldn't perfectly recreate them.



Here's Melody with her adorable little Oliver. He basically looks like a clone of her at the moment - same skintone, grey eyes, and blond hair. but since he's just a baby, I don't know how he'll change.



And this is Pip, the oldest, who has the same genetics. This family kind of sucks at genetic diversity.





A lovely family dinner - that's Eli, Melody's father, Pip, and Pip's father, Moss. Can you tell which one isn't related (of course, Eli used to have black hair, so I guess he would stand out a bit as well).







Melody and Moss obviously aren't done having children...



Family skilling time - there's really not much else going on right now, to be honest.



Told you. And ignore the walls that are down...





So. Boring.





Little Oliver grew up and looked adorable after his makeover, so there's a little bit of excitement!



THE ADORABLE!



And this was the point that I installed the Ultimate Collection and discovered that, even though I had saved the game, it somehow didn't work, so I just recreated the whole family. Like I said, I couldn't quite get them right - I wasn't able to make their distinct eye shape the same, so I tried to make them as close as possible. This is Melody, who is looking great!



I decided not to give them any extra money, so while they have a house, it's pretty bare and in need of a lot of decorating and furniture.



See what I mean? Pretty bare-bones compared to what they used to have.



I cheated and gave Melody a quick pregnancy to try and catch them up with where they were.



Really? REALLY?



Look, genetic diversity! This is either Marley or Ebeneezer (yeah, I decided to go with the Charles Dickens naming theme, even though I chose some weird names), and he has brown hair and green eyes instead of the grey/blond combo!



Meanwhile, the other twin has grey eyes and brown hair, so there's some genetic diversity just between the twins - yay!



I used the little money they had to decorate an adorable nursey.



I don't remember who this is that Pip brought home with him, but they're adorable together!



The twins grew up - things got boring again and nothing was really going on.
I really should have checked which twin is which. I think this is Eb?



And this one might be Marley?



And then Oliver grew up as well, which apparently quite a shock for Melody...



And it was also Pip's birthday!
(I can't remember if this all happened on the same day or there was simply nothing else going on...)



Get thee to a dresser right now!



But first, some of his stats - He's a Fortune Sim who likes larger brunettes, but not if they're super hairy and howl at the moon.



Here's a madeover Pip - and as I was editing all these pictures, I noticed just how glitchy his hair is - I might have to change that later.



Aw, the adorable!



Look who it is! A grown up Daniel Médias from my 100 Baby Challenge - so, spoilers, I suppose, if I ever actually update that challenge again. Pip is gay, I'm pretty sure, or at least bisexual, since he's definitely interested in Daniel.

You are both rocking and failing at life right now, Melody.



This is a sign that we need way more beds in this house - because Pip apparently doesn't love his brothers, he refuses to share a bed with either of them even though he's about to drop from exhaustion.



What the hell?! This is some guy that Melody brought home from work, and he just randomly started beating up an elderly man!



Ooh, a late night call to the beau!



Wow, Pip, so romantic.



If you look at Daniel's face closely, he definitely doesn't look too happy about his date being replaced by a younger, brunet version...



Oliver: I am the best ever!
Melody: Wow, this book is fascinating!
Christy: Sorry, son, but no one really cares.
What a supportive family.



Homework party! Definitely the best kind of party you can have!



Hmm, this picture confuses me - one side of the picture is adorable, while Moss is being slightly creepy on the other side.



Why does everyone have a problem with poor Eli?!



Pip has really become adorable now that he's a teenager!



Aw, they still love each other! That's especially great after all the quasi-Scot-and-Christy drama from past updates.



And we end with one final birthday!





Oliver, you're really not that strong - you'll have to work on your physique a bit first.

Hopefully the next update will be a bit more interesting - I really think it will, though, since we'll have two teenagers now, who can be a bit more entertaining than admittedly adorable children. And hopefully it'll come a little sooner than the last few ones have!
