The Dasani Legacy: 2.3

Last Time: The twins became teenagers, there was a lot of love in Erick's life, and the youngest child, though unwanted, grew into an adorable toddler who's slightly scary but possibly my favorite. You can read it here. 


When I first came back into the legacy house, I saw this: Drake is on his last days! No, Drake, you can't leave already - we need you!
So here's a documentation of his last day, in which we try to make his last day a good one.

Aren't they such an adorable couple? I'm not ready for my founding couple to die yet!

Drake: I'm home from work! Aren't you totally excited?!
Of course I am!

I'm going to so completely miss you!

And I'm going to miss him really soon, since the Grim Reaper decided it was time for Drake to go to the big luau in the sky.

Drake: Wait a minute, what is this? I'm not ready to go, I have so many dreams and goals left to achieve! I must remain here with my gorgeous wife and crazy children and grandchildren!

Drake: Wait, is this a strawberry cosmo? Maybe I am ready to go after all.

Grim Reaper: Wait a minute, you can't start drinking that until you're completely gone - I'll have to take the already-consumed cosmo from your fading throat.
Wow, Grimmy, you are one creepy Death Angel.

Here's money, but I don't think it'll help the heartbreak. *sob*

This made me even sadder - poor Layla without her soulmate! I wish I could, but I think Drake is gone for good, sweetie.

And poor Layla gets mighty close to aspiration failure from the death of her beloved husband.

R.I.P. Drake Dasani.
While you were alive, I mostly ignored you and took you for granted as a father of six children, and I got really annoyed with your LTW of having six children get married, and in the end we never achieved it, but when you were almost gone I realized how much I love you.

And real life snaps me out of my sadness over Drake. Little Luke here is 'throwing a tantrum' - I didn't know Sims could even do that!

Luke: I can't stand this house anymore! My little brother who wasn't supposed to be born is now the favorite and there's no way I could win the heirship even if he weren't alive because I inherited my mother's and grandmother's eyes and Lia says I look creepy! Why does my life suck so much?!

Luke: See, don't I look so freaking cute?!
Um, I'm going to go hide under my bed and try to erase the image of your face from my mind now...

Since Luke is very close to aspiration failure (probably the reason that he was throwing the tantrum), so I fulfilled the only wish of his that I could - the Dasanis are adopting a dog, even though I don't really like having pets because they don't live as long and I hate pets dying almost as much as I hate losing my Sims!
But I decided to try anyway, and got this puppy, Hannibal. He's adorable and a genius, although he has no skills currently - that'll be fun.

No, I decided to look through all those dogs and name it just to annoy you. OF COURSE I WANT THE DOG!

Matt came out to get the new dog, although Hannibal seems to be a zombie dog who wants to eat Matt's brain... Maybe this wasn't a good idea.

Matt: Why does it feel like there's a hollow space between my ears?
Hannibal: Just ignore it, you unevolved mammal.
Really, really have an uneasy feeling about this dog idea...

We haven't had any Eli love so far this update, how scary! So here's Eli with the adorable and creepy Hannibal!

Hannibal: Help?
Eli: But I want you to help take over the world with me!
It's a match made in heaven. A scary heaven, that is.

This is his new LTW, but there is no way he's quitting his cushy career as a mad scientist just so that he can dance around in tights - much too creepy for our little straight Scot.

Meanwhile, lil' zombie Hannibal has become a full-fledged doggy! I'm slightly scared that that it'll be much easier for him to eat brains now...

And Matt is busy himself, getting his first kiss with this lovely neighbor of his - her name is Patience Royal, I believe, the child of one of my own Sims.



Since I was starting to get a tad bored with this house full of boys, I decided it was as good a time as any to send the twins off to college.

Excuse me, strange walk-by, but I'm trying to get a picture of my Sim moving to college and you're sort of in the way!
*evil eye*

Aw, are you sad that your brothers have all left you and gone to college? Don't worry, Eli, you'll be at college soon enough!

Eli: That's not why I'm sad - I'm sad because I can no long try to control my brothers and they get to be out with people who they can control but I'm stuck in this stupid crib in bear pajamas!
Oh.

Eli: Why are those stinking morons walking among influential people while I'm stuck here with my aging parents and depressed grandmother?!
You really know how to ruin a cute moment.
But I love you anyway!

And now the world dictator-wannabe gets to become a child - he'll get to be school with actual people!

Eli: Wow, my hands are now big! This'll make my plans so much easier!

Eli: Success will be mine! *claps and laughs slightly evilly and creepily*

Despite that, he's so adorable!

Layla, you little slut! This is a man that she just brought home from work, and she already got in the hot tub with him! Somebody's gotten over the death of her husband...

And since I was really getting tired of this generation, plus Eli was already a late bloomer among the children, I decided now was as good a time as any to grow him up into a teenager!

Wow, for a wannabe world dictator, he really needs to work on his clothes.
Eli: My plan is all falling into place competely...

Any good dictator needs a ruthless woman by his side. Well, this girl isn't really ruthless, but she's sure dang cute! (I can't remember her name at the moment, though)

By the time the fire got put out, I think everyone was dead except Eli. I tried to save everyone else, but by the time I realized what was going on, I couldn't get Sophia out, and while I was trying to save her, everyone else got caught in the flames, too. So I quit without saving and came back. The last time I had saved was right after Eli became a child, so I just quickly aged him up again.

And I quickly sent Eli off before something else happened.

So, next update will be the boys at college. Hopefully it'll be up soon! And hopefully it won't be as rushed as this update - I just got tired of waiting for everyone to grow up by the end.
