Rosewood: Part 2 (Hart Family)

Another long break, but at least this one was less than two months (I think)! And, starting this update, I'm going to separate the families into different updates, because the last one was really long, took forever to write, and kept giving me a few little problems. So, some updates will be like a normal legacy while some will be super-short, but the longer this goes on, the more will happen, I think. We start this update off with Joshua actually trying to be a responsible guardian and actually looking for a job. Since he didn't need a certain career for his LTW, it makes it a lot easier to find a good-paying and available job.

I thought this job seemed fitting for the slacker Joshua...

Instead of working away on a promotion, he works away on his garden, even getting his first talent badge.

The next day, while Kendall is away at school, Joshua invites over Naenae, working on his LTW.

But during his date, the phone rings and it's a boy for Kendall. Already following in her gramp's footsteps, huh? Too bad she at school!

Poor Kendall is so going to be scarred when she grows up. PUT ON SOME CLOTHES, NAENAE!

We must document this moment: Joshua actually made dinner for his granddaughter and then ate with her, like a real, true family!

I still want that wishing well, so Joshua invited a Garden Club representative over to inspect the garden.

More money, but still no wishing well. Too bad the garden chose now to have non-healthy plants.

So we call the trusty matchmaker.

Well, at least she didn't get for Joshua being a little bit of a cheapskate.

She looks pretty good for an elder, although the fact that she has the same hairstyle as Kendall is a little creepy...

Looks like a good match for once - yay, matchmaker!

She left before he could work on his LTW, so he went back to working on his garden, and he ended up turning into a PlantSim. As attractive as it may seem, I really don't think this is a good luck for Joshua...

...so I used the handy potion that I had him buy from the representative from Garden Club.

Back to normal.

The date (whose name is Cathy Straight) came back, and I immediately had Joshua give her a makeover so I'm not creeped out by the similarity between her and Kendall.

Much better looking, and more age-appropriate.

She's actually gorgeous, in my opinion - too bad she can't have any kids since she's an elder...

When he went to work on his garden, he turned into a PlantSims again.

But we have more important things to worry about, like Kendall's birthday!

Kendall: I sure hope being a teenager is a lot better than my childhood has been...

Well, that's the end of the first week at the Hart home. I have all nine pictures for the Montgomery update (yep, it was another boring four day with London), so that should be up soon, but I haven't played anyone else yet, though I'll try to do that soon! And I hope to have a Dasani update soon, too!.
