Week Six: Even though Grant was at uni and his girlfriend had already graduated, he made sure to invite Skylar over plenty to keep the flame alive. Once he graduated, he moved in with his sister and her girlfriend, but Skylar invited him over to her temporary home with her parents enough that she had a daughter, Corrine, and once her week was up, the three of them found a home of their own.

small event: Green Thumb - make your garden as lovely as possible and invite over the garden club
big even: nothing - the week goes on like normal

Grant is over the moon to finally be living with his daughter and girlfriend. He got to visit Corrine, but it's not the same as having her in a neighboring bedroom. You can tell that Grant is the son of the children-loving Lynch-Davis brood.

Skylar doesn't have time to cuddle toddlers, though - they might be homeowners now, but they sure don't own a lot, and if they want to have a decent garden for the garden club to inspect, they need some cash.

This is their very unique house. It's inspired by loads of houses I've seen, if I remember correctly (seen on simblrs, not in real life, though that would be interesting). Such a colorful house seems appropriate for the yellow-hued Grant and "likes aesthetic change" Skylar.

Speaking of that need for change, it's time for Skylar's weekly makeover. She's keeping the brown hair but trying a new style - of course, I didn't think about the fact that Grant's twin sister, Haven, has the same style. Oops? Eh, it's a different color, who cares.

Grant is just really happy to be a dad - it puts such a smile on my face. :D

Grant hasn't forgotten about himself, though - he's dreaming about his third-favorite person in his life (behind his daughter and girlfriend. Hmm, maybe behind his moms and twin sister and older sister and younger brothers and - okay, he loves a lot of people).

And Grant is going to have another baby to snuggle and actually see born - I don't think Skylar is so excited about it at the moment.

Skylar: It's a good thing I like him so much - morning sickness is the worst.

Skylar doesn't spend all her time throwing up and digging for treasure - she actually works and brings in legitimate money!

Skylar: You know who runs this house.

Maybe she also spends her time sewing sweaters and toddler dresses from the same fabric? It's almost the exact same shade.

It looks like she needs to sew herself another sweater for the moment.

Grant: My girlfriend is hot and that maternity dress works on her.
Skylar: I've trained him well.

The garden is slowly but surely growing in the back corner of the lot. We've got flowers, trees, and some dirt for new plants.

I don't know who this is (did he come home with Skylar?), but you can't have him.

Also, looking for more treasure - we need another crib or a nice twin bed for Corrine!

Grant's swooning over his girlfriend seems to coincide with baby things. Does someone have some kind of pregnancy fetish?

Hmm, I don't think that tree is well-placed. You okay in there, Corrine?

Luckily, she's going to get taller than those branches because...

...it's birthday time!

Grant: Hello, suddenly taller Corrine!

Slacker

He may not be able to cuddle her as easily, but Grant is still Super Adorable Dad.
Skylar is excused from being a cute parent because she's currently growing their next child inside her - she deserves that rest.

Rest time is over - here comes the hard part!

Corrine: I don't have to do that any time soon, do I?

Definitely not.

Here we have Sienna Royal-Lynch. I think she got the grey eyes from maternal Grandpa Graham Thatcher - neither parent has grey eyes. She obviously got everything else from her mother.

The growing and happy family, all gathered in the same room.

No surprise, Grant just had to have some hands-on time with his newest daughter.

But we also have to take care of that garden if the garden club is going to give us any credit.

We have some time - Grant or Skylar will invite the garden club on Sunday, right before the week ends.

Grant will bond with his children over anything, including homework.

Corrine gets some alone time to work on her artistic abilities.

Sienna grew up - she doesn't look super excited about being a toddler, but I think Grant is looking forward to toddler cuddles again.

Flirty (Skylar) // Nurturing (Grant) // Perfectionist

And those toddler cuddles won't stop any time soon.

Skylar: What did I do to you, universe?

You ended up adorable and you started dating an equally adorable and baby loving dude, that's what happened.

Grant invited over the garden club. The leader was this interesting guy.

That is NOT the garden, you creep.

Skylar: I don't actually know what to do. Can I punch him?

I won't tell if you don't.

He finally made his way out to the garden (you know, that thing that's OUTSIDE) and joined his fellow garden clubbers.

Grant: Hey, we'll definitely take money.

That's for sure.

To celebrate, let's have some family time in that excellent garden!

*artistic shot*

One family member didn't get to make it out to the garden - but she/he will next time!

For now, though, we leave this family as a group of four, once more out in the garden.

Notes:
- These two definitely love each other, but no wedding chimes on the way - neither one has had any wants about marriage. It's been so long since I played them that I can't even remember if they're even engaged - I want to say no?
