saveourpeeps: (Everett: Reading is Fun!)
[personal profile] saveourpeeps

Last Time: The Everett women and girls continued to both fail and succeed at life in the midst of uncontrollable Sim life. The Everett women were definitely failing when a social worker came and took the girls away, but we quickly fixed that and got back our two possible heirs so that we didn't have to start all over again. After her fun adventure in child protective services, Selena grew up into a teenager, which means we're one step closer to surviving the first generation of this ISBI.

They all look so happy, which seems misleading to me. Although, to be fair, they are often quite happy despite how chaotic their life can be.

Look, it's Tigre Hue, from the legacy I sometimes update on my Tumblr! Perhaps he's jealous that the Everetts are getting more attention than his family and wanted to scope out his competition...

Aw, Selena is such a nice, older sister! That's the nice thing about ISBIs - seeing some of the cute and happy things that the Sims get up to when I'm not controlling them all the time.

And the happy family moment is over and now we have Selena complaining about how hungry she is and blah, blah, blah.

Torch holder to the rescue!

They really need a bigger dining area - these family moments just aren't complete when only three people can sit at the table.

That looks painful - Professor Von Ball has some interesting powers.

Tatiana quickly tries to cheer up her wife - it looks like it's working.

Got to love it when you get neat Sims.

Sister bonding!

I don't think Juliana is playing nicely...

Juliana: I don't want to turn around, do I?
No, I don't think you should.
Katlin: She's such an effective censor, though!

They are also a very affectionate couple, which is sweet to see, even if it scars their daughters.

Hey, you should be happy that your week has been that good! No more social workers and what not ruining your day!

Mother-daughter bonding! So much happy bonding this update - what kind of ISBI is this?!

SO MUCH HAPPY FAMILY BONDING!

Well, let's see if today is going to be a good day or not: will the girls make it to school?

Selena: Bye, Juliana, I hope you don't fail out of school!
No, grab your sister's hand and get her to school!

Good job, Juliana! Maybe today will be a good day after all.

I think Professor Von Ball is the unofficial fifth member of the Everett family at this point.
Katlin: Don't tell my wife about this - I wouldn't want her to get jealous!
Don't worry, I don't think she will be.

Tatiana needed some logic points for her job, so everyone gets a chess set to wile away their time, and people are actually using it - success!

Hello, Professor, should we put out a plate for you?

So much family win for an ISBI!

Juliana brought this peppy little dude, Fidel Lynetti, home with her.

Katlin welcomes him so nicely to the lovely Everett home.

Katlin: Why isn't there any food in my belly?
Maybe you should LOOK BEHIND YOU - you know, at the container which holds FOOD?

Juliana: No, no, my mom can't come to the phone right now.

Juliana: Why? Oh, she's completely forgotten how to feed herself and is acting like an irritating little child - and I should know, I'm much more mature than she ever could be!
Something tells me that Katlin is not Juliana's favorite mother of the two.

Working her way up that career ladder.

Family meals are one of the main ways that Tatiana keeps anyone alive.

It also led to a little extra weight on Tatiana.

YOU JUST HAD DINNER! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?

Well, at least I know Juliana is eating as well.

Juliana: Look, it's Professor Von Ball!
Selena: Ooh, where? Where's good ol' Uncle Professor?
Juliana: *snicker*

There has been so much not-fail in this update - again, what kind of ISBI is this? Of course, it leaves me a lot less stressed every time I pull up the Everetts...

And now let's see if Katlin is having a better day - her carpool is here.

And success!

Tatiana's Fortune Sim tendencies are definitely showing, but I don't know if I feel like jumping through all those hoops.

Say goodbye to the adorable Juliana, because it's now...

...birthday time!

Hmm, I can't quite tell if that's good or not - it looks like the sand is red, but the glow is blue, so I think she grew up well?

As soon as she got a makeover, she opted for some tough sister bonding - what happened to the sweet story telling?

Even though Juliana is now her size, Selena isn't afraid to assert her power.

Juliana is decidedly NOT HAPPY. I've never seen one of my Sims look like this, come to think of it...

Here's a better look at the teenaged Juliana. I don't know how I'm going to pick an heir based on appearance alone - I guess I won't be able to be that shallow...

Fortune
+ makeup and red hair
- swimsuit

Juliana heads off to bed as this update comes to a close. Maybe we'll have some more drama next time around?
