Week Six: Olivia spent much of her college days surrounded by couples, so she invited her boyfriend, Andre, over as much as possible. She found a house back in Sunset Bay proper and Andre joined her once he graduated as well. When they weren't being all couple-y around the many other couples, they were studying - they're a pretty drama-free couple, so far at least.

small event: Charity Starts at Home - donate funds to a worthy cause or needy neighbor
big event: Mid-Life Crisis - start an affair with a single sim and try not to get caught, change aspiration

They donated the money to Ashlyn - not to spoil things too much, but the Perrys are going to come into some money this week and don't need even more, but Andre was trying to be helpful, so it's the thought that counts, right?

And, now that he's helped his sister out, he's ready to focus on other things, like WEDDING BELLS.

But first things first, they need to christen the bed, because why not?

And it wouldn't be fair to ignore the little bench at the end of the bed, now would it?

Niall: Um, I'm not looking at those two, no sir. I have my own wife at home. A wife... and children... and no nice bench at the end of the bed that needs christening...
Niall Pleasant, just go home.

Now we need to worry about the major ROS event this week - despite all the love, Olivia is going to become a Romance Sim for a while. Way to try and break up young love, ROS.

Poor Andre has no idea what's in store.

Olivia heads off to the small business area - she might be a Romance Sim now, but she's not going to insult Andre by inviting over her date to their new home.

She tried Eve Pleasant's pool first, complete with its owner showing off how nice the pool is.

Nope.

It might not get her any dates, but it sure was relaxing to read a book in the hammock for an hour or so.

Next, she headed to the Sunset Bay Bar & Grill (that's not its name, I don't think, but I can't think of what it is at the moment, so we'll just keep giving it different names until I bother checking it out in game).

And look who's here, all sparkly - Daniel Royal!
Sorry dude, but you have a wife and twin sons, so we're going to pass - no need to break up two families at once thanks to stupid ROS.

NO. I don't care if his girlfriend had another child - that was back in Week 1, you're not breaking up Graham Thatcher and Trinity!

Graham: No, I have a longtime girlfriend, leave me alone already!
Good Graham.

Well, Olivia has caught Cameo Mason's eye, that's for sure.

As well as this Maxis sim's eye.

Yes, Daniel, you are very cute, but go home to your wife and sons!

Well, so far, Operation Cheat on Spouse hasn't worked, but Olivia doesn't seem too bent out of shape. Hello, kitty, we need you to join the family as well!

But first, we have a baby who will be joining the family!

Andre: You might have been gone a suspiciously long time, but you look good in that new maternity outfit!
Yes, keep focusing on the woman you love and not what she might be doing when she's not at home (which, so far, has been reading in a hammock and drinking at a bar alone, but whatever).

Ah, Isla Fey, she of the water balloons and endless after school visits - Olivia is a little busy and older than you right now to be your not-friend.

Aw, Olivia's father, Jesse Davis, came to visit one of his twins!

And he sort of gets to meet his future grandchild as well!

Andre is a bit ambitious - your house only has three bedrooms, you know.

Um, what's happening?

WHAT?!

WHAT IS WITH THE TAYLOR-DAVIS FAMILY AND DYING?!

Andre, save your woman! And your baby! DO IT!

YES! It just took a Perry to finally be successful at cheating death, apparently.

Olivia: It's good to be alive!
Your top and bottom halves aren't connected.
Olivia: Still alive!

And, with that life-threatening little episode, Olivia decided that life is too short and she loves Andre too much to cheat on him, ROS or not, so I changed her aspiration back to her original Fortune. Eh, we tried.

YES, please, please eat.

I guess Andre used up all his luck bringing Olivia back from death.

Olivia: Hey, Andre, I know you're actually in the other room and I can't really see through walls, but I think you might want to come out to the hall.

Andre: Ugh, there aren't any empty counters! Why are things so difficult?
Olivia: A baby is trying to push itself out of me - stop whining!

Andre: Oh well, time to go to work.
Olivia: I HATE LIFE WHY AM I ALIVE AGAIN?

Andre: Wait, what's happening?
You'd think he didn't have a younger brother.

Hmm, Andre might be closer to his LTW than we thought.
Luckily, it's just twins - Olivia's twin genetics are stronger than Andre's quad genetics.

It's twin girls! First we have Kinley Taylor, who got inherited her grandmother Delaina's eyes, as well as her brown hair and skintone.

And Morgana Taylor also got Grandma Delaina's green eyes, but her S2 skin came from her dad and her black hair came from her mother. Yay for genetic diversity!

Andre wasn't able to stay for long before he headed to work for real - and I couldn't resist taking a picture of his current job as a clown. *giggles*

The twins grew up, because babies are boring. Here's Morgana - I try to stick with shorter hair for toddlers, but that doesn't always happen. *shrugs*

The family togetherness is interrupted by another one on the way!
Olivia: I regret everything.

Eh, not bad either, but I still prefer the clown.

Olivia's cousin, Grant Lynch, randomly came to visit and decided to just hang out in Olivia and Andre's bedroom.
Grant: This is a nice bench.
*headdesk*

Morgana: Um, who's this random yellow man?
Your great-uncle who's really normally a sweet guy and not so odd.

To end the week, we brought plenty of family members in so that Olivia and Andre can get married in style. Unfortunately, everyone apparently loves ogling Delaina instead of seeking out the bride and groom.
Jesse, you're forgiven because she's your actual girlfriend, but Camille, you have a girlfriend, and Joel, you already had enough cheating drama, so leave her alone!

We got some people outside to the wedding arch.

Delaina: I prefered it when everyone was paying attention to me.
Jason: Who are you?
NO! Leave her alone, sweet and innocent boy!

NO! Your new wife is RIGHT THERE, you know, Delaina's DAUGHTER.
Maybe Olivia wasn't the right one to become a Romance sim for a week.

Lots of people celebrated the new coupling, but some people...

Seriously? The groom's father and the bride's twin brother were too busy to watch the ceremony?

What better way to celebrate your nuptials (and in your finery, no less) than by throwing the ol' baseball around?

At least the pop didn't strain her nice wedding dress.

I think Morgana is more interested in the adorable cat than learning how to talk. I agree - cats > talking

We'll have to wait until next week before we see the new addition, though - another sim who gets to waddle around town and through everyone else's weeks!

» Yep, I'm finally back! I've successfully transfered all my game to my new computer, but some of the custom content is being annoying so I'm still working on fixing it up and a few of the pictures I took don't look as high quality as these pictures, but I have a lot of old pictures that have been edited and just need to be uploaded.
» Speaking of uploaded, you might have heard about the Photobucket debacle (you now have to pay $400 (!) to put your pictures on third party websites, like DW) - all of my pictures seem fine so far, but I'm working on downloading them all and saving them so that I can hopefully re-upload them in case they do go down - I don't know why they're still fine right now.
» And, because why not post these updates in more places, I'm working on posting all the old pictures on a Sunset Bay-specific Tumblr and I'll try to upload updates on this DW and the Tumblr together. Right now I'm still working my way through Week 1, but I'm making progress. You can check it out here!
