The Royal-Thatcher Family I: Week Six

Week Five: Trinity and Graham grew old and were adorable (and sometimes bored) after their children all left for college. One of the triplets, Skylar, and their youngest, Monty, both moved back end at the end of the week after neither really found love in college. Trinity was very excited for future grandchildren, so their kids need to get started on that soon if they don't want to risk being kicked out (just kidding - I think).

small event: Simply Irrestible - all of your eligible sims try to get 10 charisma points during the week
big event: Moochers! word of your goodness gets out and 2 sims move in

Yep, we have two new people randomly moving into the house! First is Amy Diaz, who we previously saw at Jules Perry's coffee shop.

Family Sim | Black Thumb // Holds Grudges // Colorful // Collector // Reserved

Before we meet the second new resident, we interrupt to remind you that Skylar and Grant Lynch are still very much in love.

Yes, very much still in love, especially now that they're both adults. After all, Trinity and Graham aren't getting any younger and don't have any grandchildren yet (well, Trinity does, since Leo is her son - I keep forgetting that).

Back to the moochers - this is Poca (aka Pocahontas) Townie - I know, super-original name. She's from the spectacular Lesyasun.

Pleasure Sim | Appreciates Art // Needs Aesthetic Change // Rebellious // Party Animal // Lucky

Amy is not just a moocher - she's prepared to cook for everyone.
Also, that clown on the milk is very sad.

Amy is definitely a family sim.

Poca: You know, there are so many interesting people in this neighborhood.
Grant: Wait, who are you?

Um, I think Skylar is already taken, Poca.

Well, Daniel and Tyson are horrible children.
I feel less bad about Graham drifting apart from a woman he nearly had an affair with...
Trinity and Graham don't really seem to care right now, though. Also, why aren't you in your own bed?

Ah, because it's been taken over. Monty does not seem to be happy to share a bed with his new housemate.

Monty: Only I can steal my parents' bed, not some random stranger.
I've never seen cranky Monty before - I don't like it.

This is a better choice than Skylar, romance Sim or not.

Speaking of Skylar, she's gotten a job - if she ends up moving out of their nice family home, she'll need some more money.

Monty is feeling lonely as well, so he gets set up with this actually handsome game-generated guy, Sinjin Couderc.

He sent some mixed signals...

These two did not, however, and Amy quickly found her way back to Trinity and Graham's bed - luckily, this time there was no Monty to grouch at her.

No grouchiness between these two, that's for sure.

Look, one of the sons who didn't want to remain best friends with his father has come to visit!
Daniel: I don't like this introduction.
I don't care.

Daniel: Did anyone miss me?
Graham and Trinity: *cold shoulder*

Daniel: Hi, Mom and Dad!
Graham: Trinity is hot.
They used to be good parents until you ruined things, Daniel.

Monty: Well, I missed you.
Daniel: Well, I think I found my official favorite in this family.

Graham: Wait again, who are you?

Monty: I'm only letting this go because they're not in my parents' bed. But also, I want them to GTFO and get a room. I'm so conflicted.

Rather than be conflicted, he invited Sinjin over to see if he's still conflicted.

The full house is going to keep getting fuller.

Monty is very proud of himself.
Monty: I properly guarded my parents' bed.
You need a new obsession.

Yep, it's going to be a very full house.

So many pieces here - there is no Downtown, for one thing. Oh, and Grant is your son, Luna Lynch, now your friend - and Skylar is now pregnant with your grandchild. Otherwise, carry on.

These two are still quite close and enjoy doing things like playing baseball in their pajamas together.

Amy: Hungry, so hungry!
Being pregnant has made Amy forget where the kitchen is and how to cook, apparently. Right there, with the stone walling. Not that difficult.

Almost there for Skylar...

...and it's time for Amy!

Skylar: Wait, this is what happens when I give birth?!
Trinity: Who are you?!

Poca: Nothing ever happens in this house.

Poca: Why didn't anyone ever tell me she was giving birth?!
Graham: Seriously, how many people live here who I've never met?

Just one more, Graham: Juno Diaz (yeah, she's not keeping Poca's lack of a surname). She got her skintone and her hair color from both of her mothers and her brown eyes from Poca.

And now it's Skylar's turn.
Trinity: Wait, did this guy move in now?

Well, since it's Grant's child, I'll let this skintone slide and let it just be genetics.
Anyway, meet Corrine Royal-Lynch! Eyes and hair color from her mom, skintone from her dad, of course.

Wrong baby, Graham.
Graham: There are too many people in this house, so I officially don't care.
OK, proceed.

Yeah, as long as the babies are being fed, I don't care either.

Daniel: Hmm, rain.
Trinity: Oh, look, it's raining.
*rolls eyes*

It's birthday ti-
Hmm... She definitely takes a lot after Poca...
Hopefully she'll grow into that face...

Colorful (Amy) // Appreciates Art (Poca) // Slob

Sinjin: And who is that?
So. In. Con. Sis. Tent.

Corrine also grew up, and her face fits her a bit better.

Artistic (Skylar) // Nurturing (Grant) // Family-Oriented

Here's Juno with a makeover, looking a little better.
Monty: She was conceived on my parents' bed, wasn't she? *strained smile*

Maybe this will make him feel better - Sinjin moves in with plenty of money, which is good considering that Trinity is the only one with a job and she only gets about $500 for working at Jules's coffe shop.

Romance Sim | Born Salesperson // Handy // Elegant // Cosmopolitan // Minimalist

And that's it for the Royal-Thatcher family this week! As you can see, it got a bit smaller since plenty of people moved out at the end. Now it's just Graham and Trinity, their youngest son, and another person they probably don't know.

Skylar and Corrine moved out and found a house with her main beau, Grant, who finally gets to meet his daughter (I probably should have invited him over at some point after Corrine was born).

And Amy and Poca found their own place for their growing family, where they're not surrounded by people who keep forgetting who they are and are very territorial about the only double bed in the house.

Notes:
- I couldn't move Grant in sooner because he already had his Week 6 adventures in college, so he's officially one week younger than Skylar.
- When I first saw Amy, I thought that she had been generated by the game, but then I realized that she had custom clothes and  hair even though I've only made over a small amount of game townies and her name probably came from Amy Santiago and Rosa Diaz on Brooklyn 99. No one else probably cares, but I felt like I should make this clarification.
