The Royal-Thatcher Family: Week Three

From the round-up of Week One, this is what happened in the Royal-Thatcher household last time: The growing family moved into a new house, which worked out well when Trinity gave birth to another son, Monty. Graham spent his week writing books and being all lovey-dovey with the girlfriend that he refuses to marry and who refuses to marry him right back, despite all the lovey-dovey-ness. The triplets grew up as well - Skylar was the lone girl, Daniel did little else as well, and Tyson was a true insomniac who refused to share a bed with his lovely sister for no reason.

Trinity is heading off to work! She was hired by Jules Perry during her update, so now Trinity gets to leave the busy household everyday from roughly 8am to 5pm, and they actually have a steady flow of cash coming in, no matter how small!

Meanwhile, Graham continues to be a stay-at-home parent who doesn't have a whole lot of things to do when the kids are all off at school and he doesn't have any writing inspiration.

See? This is Graham's Monday for the most part.

Why no, I did not just take this picture so that I could have a pretty scenery picture to use in the header...

Skylar: Dad, Dad, look at my report card! Look at all the high marks!
Graham: *sleeps*
I don't think you're going to wake him up for an A+ - maybe if you got an A++?

Monty brought home a new resident! This is Eve - I'm not going to say her last name, because it's kind of a surprise, but it's safe to say that, with her multi-hued skintone, she doesn't really look like her mother too much, so you won't be able to guess who it is based on Eve's looks.

Trinity: Congratulations for changing your hairstyle - I approve!
Skylar: Well, I can't control hair growth, but thanks!
As you might recall, one of Skylar's traits is aesthetic change, so expect a lot of different hairstyles in this update alone.

Graham has gotten a spark of inspiration, and so he's once again hogging the family computer.

Tyson brought home a friend of his own, his mother's new boss's son Andre!

Their playdate was interrupted by DOUBLE FIRE! Luckily, nothing happened, but it was annoying.

Really? Didn't this already happen last update?

Tyson: Mom? Mom! Don't walk toward the light! Stay away from the light!
Trinity: Does the light keep me from being electrocuted again?
Tyson: Um... no?

Again? You have a problem, Trinity.

This is really a sign that they need more beds, but mostly it's just adorable.

Look at the sparkles and all of the children gathered for a family dinner!
But wait a minute, where are the parents...?

No more children!
Graham: *ignores*

There, that's better. A picture perfect family moment!

Monty: You know, we should band together, since we have so much in common.
Eve: What do we have in common?
Monty: Well, my mom obviously has some alien in her, which means I do too, and you obviously have some as well.
Eve: No I don't - what are you talking about?!
Way to go, Monty - you're brilliant at making friends.
*refrains from saying that he's alienating them*
*obviously didn't refrain all that much*

Birthday time for the triplets!

Daniel
Pleasure Aspiration - Athletic

Skylar
Romance Aspiration - Artistic

Tyson
Knowledge Aspiration - Green Thumb

No idea at all where I got this title. Randomly clicking keys?

Skylar approves.

Graham, you have little to do all day - you couldn't clean up the obviously bad food and make yourself a new meal?
Graham: *continues to eat green food*

To keep him occupied and away from the rotting food, Graham starts a little garden in their front yard.

Daniel brought this guy home with him. His name is Brendon Tibbs, and Skylar is not very impressed by him.

Daniel is, though...

Daniel is very impressed. Awww.

Skylar changed her hair again, this time drastically - it was mostly because her old hair was glitchy, but it also worked with her personality.

Skylar definitely seems to have a better relationship with Daniel than Tyson-I-refuse-to-share-a-double-bed-with-my-sister-Royal. It doesn't help when said brother goes around giving her noogies - and when she just got her hair perfect, too!

This is such a normal sight that neither Daniel nor Skylar really cares anymore, even to act embarrassed.

Daniel gets along with everyone in the family - he's definitely the friendliest in the family, except for maybe Monty.

Since Tyson is a knowledge sim, he wanted to get into private school, so he invited the local headmaster.

Look at the happy family dinner! Brendon was apparently visiting Daniel again, so he joined them at dinner.
Um, Skylar, maybe that isn't the best thing to wear for a fancy family dinner...
Skylar: *does what she wants and doesn't care*

They got in, which helped keep Tyson was spiraling into a dark place, aspiration-wise. Congrats, Tyson!
Tyson: *hides his excitement - very, very well*

And that's it for the Royal-Thatcher family this week! Luckily, it didn't grow again, other than older. Ignore Skylar's face - I only got one shot before they started moving and generally ignoring and annoying me, so she'll have to live with this picture. Plus, you know, she's a sim who doesn't really care all that much.

Next up is the last family for week three: a new one!

Notes:
- I was never all that interested in using all those mods and cheats to make a sim-runned school, so when Tyson wanted to go to private school, I decided to just go with it. I'll just pretend that everyone gets on a ferry and goes to school on another island or something, and there just happens to be a public and private school on that island. *shrugs*
- Since Tyson is so concerned with school, I guess I'll have to seriously start thinking about college. I'm working on a college neighborhood already, but I haven't decided if the current teenagers/children/etc. are going to attend it or if I'll wait for the next generation. I think I'll see them all off so that I put off the huge influx of children that will surely come when all of the current children grow up, but I'm not sure yet.
